About the gallery
Contemporary work from the southern edge
Kestrel & Vane is a contemporary art gallery on Balfour Lane, Chippendale — a few streets south of the city's edge, where the light arrives hard and flat. The practice we show is close to the ground: salt, ash, pigment, salvaged tile, and the weather that makes them.
